This workshop will utilize the BASI methodology as a unique and invaluable training mode for the elite athlete. Pilates meets several physical performance factors identified as important to the elite athlete and athletic trainer. This workshop will focus on ten principles an athlete requires: posture, balance, stabilization, mobility, flexibility, coordination, agility, symmetry, endurance, and functional strength. Athletes are a special population with specific considerations that must be addressed for optimum performance. This exciting and interactive workshop will structure a session using the BASI Block System.
