Given the shape of the ball & socket joint, the hip joint provides great stability compared to the other ball & socket joint, the shoulder joint. This should not be taken for granted by not mobilizing it. With a good network of muscle, tendons & ligaments, these structures work together to provide strength, mobility, and stability, allowing such activities as walking, running, jumping, and other weight-bearing exercises. Through this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to modify the exercises on the equipment taken from all BASI Repertoire to adapt to the need in hip joint mobility & stability. From assessing to enhancing, the movements are applicable and easy to follow.
