We are taught that Pilates is a mind/ body method of moving, but what does this mean on a cellular level? In this workshop, we will learn about the mental as well as skeletal muscular memory of injury. Every time we contract a muscle and move, a feedback mechanism sends signals to the brain on how and when we move. If this leads to an injury, the body remembers. Changing this memory pattern is possible.
